Tom Yum Fried Rice
Ingredients:
Rice – 600g
Mixed Vegetables – 250g
Dried Mushroom – 150g
Tom Yum Paste – 30ml
Cucumber – 150g
Soy Sauce – 15ml
Pepper – 5g

Cooking Class Lesson 2 Recipes (2nd Run)
We conducted our second cooking lesson recently, where participants learnt how to cook three different dishes. Here are the step by steps instructions for the dishes taught in Lesson 2.
Savoury Chickpeas in Tomato Glaze
Ingredients:
1 1/4 cups dried chickpeas
4-5 cups water
3 tbsp olive oil or ghee
1/2 tsp mustard seeds
1 1/2 tsp cumin seeds
1 1/2 tsp minced fresh ginger
1 1/2 tsp fresh green chillies, seeded and chopped
10 fresh curry leaves
1 1/4 cups ripe, finely chopped tomatoes
1 tsp turmeric
1/4 cup chopped fresh coriander leaves
1 1/2 tsp chat masala
1/2 tsp garam masala
1 1/4 tsp salt
1 tbsp peanut butter
German Apple Pie
Ingredients:
Apples – 800-850g
Flour – 100g
Soy Milk – 100ml
Lemon Juice – 1/2
Lemon Zest – A pinch
Corn Oil – 35ml + 15ml
Eggs – 2
Sugar – 50g
Salt – A pinch
Baking Powder – 4g
