What a fantastic start to our Pipe Cleaner Art series! On the first Saturday of August, Nurtureland, in proud partnership with VCAI, held our very first session at the Manor Lakes Community Learning Centre.
For our debut workshop, participants explored the art of crafting delicate, vibrant purple lavender stems. Attendees discovered firsthand how balancing a soft chenille exterior with a structured wire “skeleton” creates sturdy, realistic floral arrangements that never wilt. The room was filled with wonderful energy, focused craftsmanship, and plenty of shared laughs as everyone shaped their individual bouquets to take home.
